Requirements

  • Extensive experience building machine learning systems
  • Strong background in building and optimizing recommendation algorithms
  • Extensive experience with Python, SQL and MLOps best practices
  • Cloud experience needed (ideally AWS but could be another cloud provider)
  • Airflow and DBT experience is a nice to have
  • Excellent Communication in English and French mandatory to liaise with both a tech and business audience
  • You enjoy working in a team, learning new things, sharing knowledge
  • Experience in a tech startup/scaleup is a plus
  • Strong achievements on Kaggle will be valued

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of our products modeling pipelines
  • Contribute to high modeling performance through insightful ideas and initiatives
  • Build and deploy quickly scalable ML systems
  • Promote good coding practices, rigor and good-quality work
  • Engage with colleagues across the company to leverage new ideas and perspectives and demonstrate excellent communication to efficiently cooperate with product managers, teammates and stakeholders
  • Deep dive into data to discover relevant insights
  • Build a rich understanding of the BeReal product, the company strategy, our products and their fit within the company’s daily operations
  • Be a team player by supporting your teammates and sharing with them your knowledge or new discoveries
