Candidates must have 5-7 years of experience in data science, applied machine learning, or advanced analytics with a proven track record of driving impact. Strong SQL and Python skills are essential for wrangling large datasets and building end-to-end analyses and models. Experience with forecasting, classification, or scoring models applied in business contexts is required. Familiarity with modern data workflows and tools such as dbt, Snowflake, Hex, and Streamlit is necessary. Strong communication skills are needed to explain complex models and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders. Bonus points for experience embedding ML insights into applications or customer-facing products.
The Senior Data Scientist will design and deploy predictive models to improve customer acquisition, conversion, and retention. They will partner with Product, Revenue, and CX teams to identify opportunities for modeling and experimentation that drive measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities include building prototypes and production-ready models in Python, leveraging modern data stacks like Snowflake and dbt for scalable development and deployment. The role involves collaborating with data engineering to ensure clean and reliable data pipelines for advanced analytics and ML use cases. Additionally, the Senior Data Scientist will translate modeling outputs into clear recommendations and decision frameworks for senior leaders and contribute to the design of analytics capabilities that extend into products.
