Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or Electrical Engineering, along with at least five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in a data-related occupation. Experience with Databricks, Python, AWS, ELT/ETL, Snowflake, Cognos, Alteryx, WMoS, Airflow, Tableau, Quicksight, Oracle, and Redshift is required.
The Senior Data Engineer will extract meaning from data using specialized computer systems to transform, organize, and model the data, drawing conclusions and identifying patterns. They will design, manage, and optimize the flow of data throughout the organization, integrate and communicate moderately complex information, and act as a resource to teammates. The role involves independently utilizing knowledge and skills to identify opportunities, resolve complex problems, and navigate solutions, driving work to completion with hands-on development responsibilities and partnering with the Engineering Manager to provide thought leadership and innovation. This includes collaborating with business partners and technology teams, designing and building reusable components at scale, identifying and tackling data management issues to improve data quality, and building continuous integration and production deployment frameworks, as well as providing production debut support and resolutions for customer issues.
