Requirements

Portfolio of dashboards built (AWS QuickSight preferred)
3+ years experience as a senior data engineer or other data-centric position, including partnering directly with stakeholders to define data problems, determine strategy, define metrics, and create necessary data structures
Strong SQL skills (proficient with all joins, CTEs, window and aggregate functions, etc.)
Experience in ETLs (experience with DBT, AWS DMS, Fivetran, and Boomi preferred)
Experience in data warehouses (AWS Redshift preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong accountability skills, including responsibility for completing work independently, raising blockers with urgency, persisting despite obstacles, and learning from past mistakes
Highly curious nature, driven to solve problems and dig deep to find solutions and ensure understanding
Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to business objective achievement through data-driven insights

Responsibilities

Work with product teams to develop meaningful metrics, define path forward, remove ambiguity and roadblocks, and drive to completion
Act as an owner, ensuring success despite obstacles
Write SQL code in DBT to build reporting tables with metrics needed to visualize in dashboards including AWS QuickSight and Tableau
Work with other BI Analysts, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and team members in product and design to solve problems collaboratively
