Candidates should possess a relevant security credential such as CCSP, GIAC, or CISSP, or demonstrate equivalent experience. They must have experience working with cloud environments, specifically Google Compute Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Service (AWS), and Microsoft Azure, and a deep familiarity with cloud security platforms like Wiz, Orca Security, Divvycloud, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, and other related tools. Furthermore, candidates should have experience developing security practices and tools including SAST, DAST, CI/CD, SCA, and possess an understanding of encryption, identity and access management (IAM), network security, vulnerability management, and incident response, along with programming experience utilizing Python, Terraform, OPA, ruby, or similar languages.
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will design and implement secure cloud architectures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices, and will stay up to date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in cloud security, recommending plans of action to respond and adapt to changing landscapes. They will function as part of a small, cross-functional team specializing in cybersecurity, develop documentation and training for cloud and developer security, and contribute to overall security strategy and implementation.
