Requirements

  • Able to communicate well, be logical with a strong attention to detail
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in either an audit or assurance role
  • Working knowledge of technology and risk industry standards and frameworks (e.g. CPS220, COBIT, ITIL)
  • Experience working in an agile environment with familiarity to frameworks such as SCRUM or SAFe
  • Self-motivated
  • ISACA or working towards credentials in the risk and audit industry

Responsibilities

  • Working with line 1 risk owners to identify emerging risks/controls, review existing risks/controls and update into Readinow
  • Translate complex technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive the performance of internal and external audits and assurance activities
  • Partner with our 2nd Line Risk and Compliance team, Internal Audit and External Auditor to be a key point of contact into Technology and Operations
  • Perform independent deep dives into the technology and operations business control appropriateness, actively participate in governance forums and safety team membership
  • Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Helia including Line 1 risk owners, Agile Squads, Line 2 teams, Technology teams, and Audit
  • Contributing to risk mitigation and incident response planning for the organisation including BCP and DR
