Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide proactive and strategic counsel on employment law matters for NAMER and EMEA regions (and global support as needed), covering recruiting, restrictive covenants, employment contracts, employee relations, performance management, terminations, reductions in force, leaves of absence, accommodations, wage and hour, commission plans, pay equity, internal investigations, sick leave, compensation and benefits, privacy, remote and contingent workers, immigration, and employment aspects of M&A and transactions
- Counsel management and implement practical solutions balancing business objectives and legal risk
- Partner with LRC and People organizations to create clarity of vision/strategy, focus on priorities for impact, risk mitigation, and resource return
- Anticipate legal issues, monitor emerging employment law risks/regulations/opportunities, and advise on policy/practice/procedure adjustments
- Manage employment-related projects hands-on, including building scalable processes, integrating with risk functions (Ethics & Compliance, Privacy, Internal Audit, Corporate), developing global toolkits, and conducting trainings, feedback sessions, and audits
- Act as primary hands-on legal partner for EMEA region, directly executing and providing strategic counsel on employment matters in the UK and Ireland, including managing outside counsel
