Requirements

Candidates should possess a strong academic background, including a university degree in accounting, law, economics, business administration, or a related field. A minimum of 20 years of experience working in Swedish Corporate Tax Law is required, along with experience in European tax regulations impacting multinational corporations. Industry experience in technology or media, coupled with Big 4 or law firm experience, is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Corporate Tax Director will manage the European and Asia Pacific tax operations, including oversight of regional corporate tax matters such as direct tax and withholding taxes, while collaborating with the Global tax function based in New York and colleagues in Stockholm. They will lead the direct tax team members in Stockholm, India, and Singapore, partner with tax and business colleagues to provide comprehensive tax advice, advise on regional tax considerations of M&A transactions and integration plans, and oversee tax compliance for the European and Asia Pacific markets. Additionally, they will manage tax filings and documentation, support and manage inquiries and audits from tax authorities, and partner with Treasury and the transfer pricing team.
