Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and ideally hold a Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications such as CPA or JD. They should have at least 7 years of experience in indirect tax, with a strong understanding of sales and use tax, VAT/GST, and other international tax regulations. Experience with global tax planning and compliance is highly desirable, along with expertise in utilizing tax engines.

Responsibilities

As the Indirect Tax Manager, you will lead all aspects of global indirect tax strategy and compliance, including sales and use tax, VAT/GST, and other indirect taxes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential indirect tax implications, support international expansion through VAT/GST planning, manage relationships with external service providers, prepare and review indirect tax accruals, and oversee the global tax engine. Furthermore, you will educate the business on the constant change in taxation of the digital economy.
