About the Role

As Senior Copywriter at Spellbook, you’ll own the copywriting function and be instrumental in driving growth through compelling, conversion-focused content. You’ll collaborate across product, sales, and customer success to shape messaging, tell great stories, and bring our AI tools to life for legal professionals around the world. We’re looking for a creative thinker with a deep understanding of performance marketing and brand voice—someone who can write headlines that convert, develop strategic messaging frameworks, and evolve our tone across a variety of channels. This is a hands-on role with strategic impact—and the potential to grow into a leadership position as the team scales.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and develop campaigns that drive conversions and lead to sales.
  • Own and evolve Spellbook’s brand voice across all customer touchpoints.
  • Build and maintain a testing mindset—experimenting with headlines, copy variations, and calls to action to improve conversion rates.
  • Work closely with product, sales, customer success and other team members to ensure messaging and campaigns are relevant to product.
  • Translate complex product features into clear, persuasive copy that quickly conveys benefits to customers.
  • Apply innovative thinking and problem-solving skills to address business challenges and improve campaign outcomes.
  • Support with additional marketing writing needs as they arise—case studies, PR releases, video scripts, event copy, etc.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of copywriting or digital marketing experience, either in-house or in agencies.
  • Strong portfolio of high-performing copy focused on driving conversions and sales.
  • Ability to write for different marketing channels and audiences.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across different departments.
  • Driven, self-directed, and proactive approach to project management.
