Requirements

Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial and/or public sector contracts, including but not limited to sales agreements, service contracts, licensing agreements, and vendor contracts
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, sales, and operations teams, to ensure contract terms align with business objectives and mitigate risks
Maintain contract templates, guidelines, and best practices to streamline the contracting process and ensure consistency across all agreements
Manage contract lifecycle, including contract renewals, amendments, and terminations, to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and optimize commercial terms
Conduct contract analysis as required to provide insights and recommendations on contract terms for internal stakeholders
Work as liaison to a complicated business segment to field, triage and answer questions, negotiate contracts consistently, and provide transparency into timing and prioritization of open requests
If managing team, manage Contracts Managers and support their prioritization, negotiation, drafting, and growth in role

Responsibilities

Independently negotiate, draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Work closely with various departments, including legal, finance, sales, and operations, to ensure that contracts are drafted and executed in accordance with Komodo internal policies
Have primary responsibility for working with complex customer segments on their specific contracting needs
Serve as a liaison to the legal and compliance teams to triage questions, manage prioritization, and ensure transparency in the process
Draft and negotiate vendor contracts as part of procurement in coordination with the finance team
Contract Negotiation and Drafting: Manage negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners to establish favorable contract terms
