Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 4 years in cloud application design, development, and testing, with expertise in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
3 years of hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics
Proficient in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with ETL processes, SQL, and PySpark for data integration
Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance requirements
Experience with version control systems (Git) and managing release pipelines
Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities
Relevant professional certifications in Azure, Databricks, or other major cloud platforms are a plus

Responsibilities

Design and implement cloud architectures and solutions utilizing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop effective cloud strategies
Manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost efficiency and high availability
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery and deployment
Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance in cloud environments
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud service issues, providing excellent support to internal and external stakeholders
Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on cloud technologies and practices
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to enhance our cloud offerings
Collaborate with product managers and architects to develop specifications for new cloud-based products/services, applications and solutions
