Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Property Resilience Assessor to join our team. This role involves conducting comprehensive property resilience assessments, focusing on natural hazards and climate risks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in evaluating major building systems and their resilience to natural hazards, as well as the ability to interpret climate risk data.

Salary

• Monthly Package: P100,000 – P140,000

Schedule

• Work Hours: 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Manila time

Skills Required

• Property Resilience Assessment Expertise:
  • Experience with ASTM E3429 assessments.
  • Ability to evaluate major building systems for resilience to natural hazards.
• Climate & Natural Hazard Data Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in interpreting climate risk data from sources like FEMA, NOAA, or proprietary tools.
  • Focus on risks such as flood, wind, and wildfire.
• Building Performance & Codes:
  • Strong foundation in building performance, construction practices, and applicable codes.
  • Ability to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Technical Reporting & Presentation:
  • Proficiency in writing detailed technical reports.
  • Ability to present findings clearly to clients and cross-functional teams.
• Project Management & Leadership:
  • Skilled in leading site visits and coordinating with consultants.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property resilience assessments focused on natural hazard and climate risks.
• Analyze building vulnerabilities and estimate potential property losses (Value at Risk).
• Provide recommendations for hazard mitigation and adaptation strategies.
• Perform and oversee site visits, interviews, and technical property reviews.
• Lead project teams, coordinate with hazard-specific experts, and mentor junior staff.
• Write detailed client reports summarizing findings and suggested resilience measures.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
• Interpret data from public and proprietary climate risk sources.
• Ensure all assessments adhere to ASTM E3429 and relevant guidelines.
• Deliver timely, high-quality service while maintaining strong client relationships.
