Responsibilities

  • Investigate claims with a financial impact on Turo by interpreting policies, determining appropriate investigation methods, and assessing eligibility for Protection
  • Communicate with customers to gather information, explain protection and procedures, educate hosts, and negotiate effective claim resolutions
  • Review and manage requests for escalation or reconsideration from other operational teams
  • Coordinate claim processing with Turo’s third-party administrators (TPAs) and vendors to ensure seamless resolution
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for peers, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Apply sound judgment to waive or make exceptions to process and policy to achieve the right outcome for hosts
  • Participate in special projects, process improvements, and business initiatives, contributing insights on objectives and KPIs
  • Attend meetings, huddles, one-on-ones, and training sessions
