Requirements

The Senior Channel Account Manager must have proven success as an experienced Channel Account Manager or similar role within the German market, ideally with experience in the cybersecurity market and technologies, including up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and governmental regulations affecting target markets. They should possess innovative and outcome-based approach, outstanding presentation skills, the ability to lead customer discussions, coordinate and manage multiple teams, develop and present plans, and train partners to qualify target accounts and opportunities.

Responsibilities

This role involves developing and executing the Channel sales strategy to recruit, enable, and develop targeted resellers, service providers, and other organizations, defining and executing business plans with Quarterly Business Reviews, assisting in driving pipeline, sales qualification, and closing of business, meeting NARR quotas, maintaining regular interaction with partner stakeholders, conducting sales training presentations, overseeing relationship building and account mapping activities, and collaborating with the Channel Marketing Team to drive marketing programs with key partners. The Senior Channel Account Manager will also maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint's solutions and competitive positioning in the marketplace.
