The Role

The Senior CAM Specialist will serve as a key leader within our property accounting team, acting as the primary liaison between the client lease administration/property operation teams, and the internal accounting teams for all things related to CAM (Common Area Maintenance). They will be responsible for overseeing the accurate setup and reconciliation of CAM charges, ensuring that lease terms are correctly interpreted, applied, and executed within our accounting systems.

  • Cash application
  • AP coding
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Financial reports
  • Assigning work to accountants/analysts
  • Giving review notes and rechecking financials to clear the notes
  • Train new staff
  • Prepare CAM Recs
  • Prepare CAM setups
  • Manage team
  • Communicate team activity
  • Ensure deadlines are followed
  • Conduct weekly 1:1's
  • Assisting team as needed
  • New property set ups as needed
  • Open new cases in Salesforce as necessary
  • Being on client calls for those on team and take notes
  • Do other tasks as assigned by Supervisor

You Have

  • 6+ Years of Experience with both property accounting and software
  • 4+ Years of Experience with CAM setups and CAM Reconciliations
