Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a data engineering environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of data engineering concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, along with SQL for data analysis, is required. Experience with Jira for project management and tracking is also essential.

Responsibilities

The Senior Business Analyst - Data Engineering will collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document requirements for data engineering projects, analyze existing data processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, work closely with data engineers and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical specifications, conduct data analysis and data validation, develop and maintain documentation related to data processes and project deliverables, facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, participate in project planning and prioritization, support user acceptance testing, and utilize Jira for project tracking. They will also stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
