Responsibilities

Advanced composite fabrication – Lead the creation of complex components using resin infusion and pre-preg fabrication methods, ensuring dimensional accuracy and structural integrity
Vessel structural assembly – Lead locating, fitting, bonding, taping, and finishing operations of composite structures while maintaining rigorous quality and alignment with engineering specifications
Process optimisation – Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine build methods, materials use, and workflow efficiency
Quality assurance – Define and uphold inspection standards, ensuring every part meets Vessev’s high expectations for performance and finish
Team development & mentorship – Support and up-skill junior builders through coaching, technical guidance, and shared problem-solving
Workplace Excellence – Promote a culture of safety, organisation, and professionalism throughout the workshop
