Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience as a backend software engineer. Strong experience with AWS is required, and familiarity with distributed systems and data processing technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will design, prioritize, and build infrastructure and services to support end-to-end experiences, primarily targeting AWS, and potentially expanding to other public clouds. You will work with the team to create a world-class development lifecycle, architecture, and toolset, and define service architecture and APIs. Furthermore, you will understand and participate in tradeoff discussions while working with data, including import, transport, cleaning, storage, analysis, and learning, often involving petabyte-scale datasets and real-time analysis.
