Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with recent experience in a Senior role, along with experience executing on large-scale projects from 0 to 1, and strong architectural experience demonstrated through the design and implementation of complex architectures.
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, proactively identify and champion strategic engineering initiatives to improve growth infrastructure and processes, work closely with Product, Data Science, and other teams on Growth to define, design, and implement impactful experiments, champion best practices in experimentation methodology, leverage data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization across the user lifecycle, analyze metrics, identify trends, and collaborate to implement solutions, participate in design reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and actively seek opportunities to improve processes and tooling, and mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering a culture of excellence.
