Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
More than 5 years’ experience in software development
Experience developing with Golang, or relevant typed languages (C++/Rust)
Experience with gRPC is ideal
Experience working with two or more from the following: distributed and parallel systems, Unix/Linux environments, web application development, developing large software systems, and/or security software development
Experience developing microservices infrastructure is ideal
Previous ‘start-up’ or ‘scale-up’ experience is favourable
Lifelong learner, self-taught, and continuously learning
Interested in keeping up with current best practices in areas of expertise
Experienced working with modern infrastructure and tools
Comfortable running software in Linux environments
Knowledge and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming, and automated testing
Familiar with designing and building distributed and scalable systems
Abundance of ambition and motivation to grow the company and compete with big players

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of C2 product to meet demanding operational requirements in real-world deployments aligned to the long-term product vision
Build features and improvements from conceptualisation to realisation working closely with the global software engineering team
Implement integrations with US-based sensors, effectors, BMS platforms, and enterprise and DoD customer environments, in close collaboration with the global C2 architecture team
Take operational responsibility for the services and code base developed
