Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • More than 5 years’ experience in software development
  • Experience developing with Golang, or relevant typed languages (C++/Rust)
  • Experience with gRPC is ideal
  • Experience working with two or more from the following: distributed and parallel systems, Unix/Linux environments, web application development, developing large software systems, and/or security software development
  • Experience developing microservices infrastructure is ideal
  • Previous ‘start-up’ or ‘scale-up’ experience is favourable
  • Lifelong learner, self-taught, and continuously learning
  • Interested in keeping up with current best practices in areas of expertise
  • Experienced working with modern infrastructure and tools
  • Comfortable running software in Linux environments
  • Knowledge and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming, and automated testing
  • Familiar with designing and building distributed and scalable systems
  • Abundance of ambition and motivation to grow the company and compete with big players

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of C2 product to meet demanding operational requirements in real-world deployments aligned to the long-term product vision
  • Build features and improvements from conceptualisation to realisation working closely with the global software engineering team
  • Implement integrations with US-based sensors, effectors, BMS platforms, and enterprise and DoD customer environments, in close collaboration with the global C2 architecture team
  • Take operational responsibility for the services and code base developed
