Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. They must have at least 6 years of experience in backend development, preferably in a SaaS or cloud platform environment, and proven experience with Java, Spring, and Microservices. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Kubernetes is required, as well as familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling, and experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Experience with Helm and Argo is advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that are easily maintainable and scalable, creating high-quality, responsive APIs using modern backend technologies, ensuring the technical feasibility of API designs and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, developing tools and components that support the workflows of other engineering teams, integrating with backend services and APIs, continuously improving the backend codebase by refactoring and optimizing as needed, and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
