Your Mission

Join our close-knit, early-stage distributed team, where we tackle exciting technical challenges and create transformative crypto products that give people peace of mind. As one of the engineers, you'll play a key role in scaling our backend systems and take direct ownership of high-impact product and engineering goals.

Responsibilities

• Build new features, products, integrations, and back-end services.
• Design scalable systems to support millions of users.
• Own and deliver top-level product and engineering objectives.
• Collaborate with team members across the company.

Role-Specific

• Strong CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, system design, and distributed systems.
• Ability to write high-quality code, value software testing, and uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design.
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services.
• Experience evolving a startup’s architecture to support mid-size company growth.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Productive, resourceful, and effective at problem-solving.
• Drawn to an early-stage, high-growth startup environment with less stability and more ambiguity.
• Strong fundamentals with a cloud platform like GCP or AWS.
• Interested in financial products and/or cryptocurrency.
• Able to work effectively in a remote setting and overlap with our core hours of 9 AM to 12 PM PT.

Sample Projects You Might Work On

• Scale our data ingestion and computation platform to handle millions of transactions efficiently.
• Build a smart trade insights platform that recommends trades across exchanges, factoring in transaction history, tax lots, fee detection, arbitrage opportunities, and slippage.
• Integrate the latest country-specific tax regulations to deliver accurate, compliant tax reports for users.
