Requirements

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Automation Test Engineering, with proven expertise in Cypress using JavaScript or TypeScript for UI and API test automation. Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured, strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication and collaboration abilities are required. Experience with BDD frameworks, containerization technologies, and other automation frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Automation Test Engineer will lead test automation efforts by designing, building, and maintaining Cypress test scripts for UI and API testing, contributing to the automation strategy with a focus on scalability and maintainability. They will optimize test frameworks, collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and align on test priorities, and mentor junior testers by performing code reviews and sharing best practices. Additionally, they will integrate Cypress automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance and communicate test results, metrics, and improvements to stakeholders.
