Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in assortment/retail planning and understanding of financial, product, and inventory planning (minimum +3 years)
  • Ability to demonstrate a growth mindset ready to leverage statistical forecasting, data science, and new ways of working to develop a fact-based plan
  • Ability to think critically and understand the potential of data & quantify any gaps to financial plan from a product potential perspective
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and design compelling communication/storytelling grounded in data

Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or inform/influence seasonal plan based on rolling SSP inclusive of retail sales (value/units), receipts, and inventory at the levels of Franchise/Merch Class x Sports x Marketplace unit
  • Develop strategies to meet Sports Offense strategic and financial goals and own product-driven OTB forecast to inform manufacturing decisions through to in-season optimization
  • Analyze the business against plan and forecasted in-season sales and inventories on a monthly or weekly basis, assessing business risk/opportunity & developing action plans and driving escalations where needed
  • Monitor top Franchise SSPs & drive x-marketplace decision-making to optimize product health and captured consumer demand and inform trading/pricing decisions
  • Set and manage E2E inventory health within and across categories & NMP MPU’s within your MPU, plus understanding impact on overall marketplace health
  • Communicate and advocate Assortment Plan to x-functional leadership team at Franchise-/Merch Class-level through the lens of Sports Offense
  • In partnership with Merchandising, optimize sell-in in line with MPU strategy and marketplace role
  • Drive projects independently; prioritize workload and deliverables within the project
