Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and develop a team of in-house attorneys, paralegals, and contract administrators
Draft and review definitive Commission Agent Leases, Lessee Dealer, and Motor Fuel Franchise Agreements, including amendments, assignments, and other agreements
Help develop and implement company policies, procedures, and training on legal and compliance issues related to Fuels Marketing
Oversee diligence process and coordinate new agreements and renewals with Fuels Marketing, accounting, and credit departments
Drive prompt transaction execution
Provide legal advice and support to Fuels Marketing regarding compliance, transactional support, and post-closing integration
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, including those related to contracts and compliance with laws
Support Fuels Marketing in the maintenance and growth of Global’s retail and supply network through new business and renewals of commission agent leases, lessee dealers, and motor fuel franchise agreements (under the direction of the Deputy General Counsel for Fuels Marketing)
