Requirements

Ph.D or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
2+ years of research experience in a university or industry, in a role with primary emphasis on AI research
In-depth experience in deep learning, in particular generative models and transformers
Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
Experience implementing software and executing complex experiments involving large AI models and datasets
Publication records at top conferences and journals such as CVPR, ICCV/ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, PAMI, IJCV, etc

Responsibilities

Bring extensive research experience in developing, evaluating, and deploying GenAI and Computer Vision models to help customers make better sense out of confusing sizing systems
Propose, lead, and build bold initiatives with ownership from development to deployment
Contribute to scientific endeavours through external publications in top-tier journals and conferences
Act as a mentor to junior scientists, foster collaboration with other teams, and actively share knowledge and expertise within Zalando’s science community
Forge close partnerships with applied science leaders, product managers, and other business stakeholders to deliver state-of-the-art GenAI solutions to customers and uncover new opportunities for growth
