Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in software development
Big Data concepts and practices; Data Lake experience a plus
Business Intelligence and data analytics experience a must
Experience with Python, Pandas, Apache Spark
Experience with Cloud/AWS, SQL, Postgres or other compatible DBMS
Databricks, Dremio working experience
A proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of applications and databases, including third-party integrations
Translate technical specs into clean, scalable code for new features and enhancements
Elevate code through dev, test, and production environments with strong change control discipline
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions
Participate in design/code reviews and collaborate across teams to resolve technical challenges
Understand client business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with IT and security policies
Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
