Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in security, investigations, operational management, compliance, legal, privacy, or related field
  • CIPM credential (Certified Information Privacy Manager) or CIPP/US or other CIPP designations (preferred)
  • Experience dealing with different workflows, processes, and diagrams (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail (preferred)
  • Teachable and work well in a team setting (preferred)
  • Technical writing experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities, including application development and other agentic enhancements
  • Manage requests related to complaints or privacy and records issues; coordinate the development of standardized responses to specific concerns related to privacy and records; escalate complaints and concerns as appropriate
  • Develop department guides, procedures, reports, and other communications related to privacy and records best practices
  • Run and analyze reports to identify instances of problem areas leading to potentially unfulfilled requests
  • Identify problems in workflows and coordinate with technical support teams to resolve issues
  • Manage inboxes to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and the processing of privacy requests
  • Maintain and create necessary email and postal response templates
  • Review submitted identity and authorized agent documentation
  • Identify required postal and electronic customer communications and assist with daily processing
  • Assign and process postal tasks and update systems with necessary request statuses, notes, and documentation
  • Conduct review of assigned customer disclosure reports and make necessary redactions according to guidance
  • Analyze and assign disclosure reports to staff aug vendors to execute review, as needed
  • Perform escalation review (second level review) of all customer disclosure reports escalated from staff aug vendors
  • Perform quality control review for sample of disclosure reports to ensure accuracy and provide feedback to reviewers
  • Coordinate with technical support teams to resolve issues and prevent backlog
