Requirements

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Operations, Middle-Office or related fields (mid-level seniority)
Intermediate understanding of financial markets, instruments, and key processes
Intermediate knowledge of financial products, such as equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, listed derivatives, and OTC derivatives
Experience with reconciliation of positions and understanding of break resolution process
Experience in collateral management process & interest calculations (an asset)
Analytical and detail-oriented, resourceful with a proven ability to manage work in a timely manner
Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively explain concepts to team members
Team-oriented with demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Post Graduation or master’s degree in finance or equivalent qualification from reputed college
Capital market certification or any other charter certifications (an added advantage)

Responsibilities

Perform all OTC collateral management and settlement activities
Perform positions reconciliations, investigate breaks and liaise with counterparties, asset managers and administrators to resolve any discrepancy, maintaining prompt action/response with aforesaid parties
Participate in the configuration and setup of new platforms or funds launches
Maintain funds documentation and processes update at all times
Share knowledge and provide support to other team members
Engage in continuous learning and upscaling knowledge on processes, products and system
From time to time, participate in projects and processes improvements
