Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Operations, Middle-Office or related fields (mid-level seniority)
  • Intermediate understanding of financial markets, instruments, and key processes
  • Intermediate knowledge of financial products, such as equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, listed derivatives, and OTC derivatives
  • Experience with reconciliation of positions and understanding of break resolution process
  • Experience in collateral management process & interest calculations (an asset)
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, resourceful with a proven ability to manage work in a timely manner
  • Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively explain concepts to team members
  • Team-oriented with demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Post Graduation or master’s degree in finance or equivalent qualification from reputed college
  • Capital market certification or any other charter certifications (an added advantage)

Responsibilities

  • Perform all OTC collateral management and settlement activities
  • Perform positions reconciliations, investigate breaks and liaise with counterparties, asset managers and administrators to resolve any discrepancy, maintaining prompt action/response with aforesaid parties
  • Participate in the configuration and setup of new platforms or funds launches
  • Maintain funds documentation and processes update at all times
  • Share knowledge and provide support to other team members
  • Engage in continuous learning and upscaling knowledge on processes, products and system
  • From time to time, participate in projects and processes improvements
