Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, with a Ph.D. being preferred. They should possess at least 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, supported by a strong portfolio of production-level projects, and demonstrate deep knowledge of machine learning and deep learning algorithms such as CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, and LLMs. Proficiency in Python and associated libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face is required, alongside experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, and Airflow, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Furthermore, candidates should have experience deploying and maintaining models at scale, coupled with a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
The Senior AI Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing advanced machine learning models and deep learning architectures for real-world problems, leading AI/ML system design including data pipelines, model training workflows, evaluation strategies, and deployment frameworks. They will conduct research and experimentation with new algorithms, tools, and technologies to enhance the company’s AI capabilities, collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to translate business requirements into AI solutions, mentor and guide junior AI engineers and data scientists, optimizing and monitoring model performance in production and addressing issues of bias, drift, and latency. The role also involves staying current with AI research, tools, and industry trends, bringing innovative ideas into the team, and contributing to technical strategy and defining the roadmap for AI initiatives.
