Requirements

  • Degree (2:1 or above, or equivalent) in a relevant subject area, e.g. mathematics, statistics or actuarial studies
  • Technical experience in a role at a (re)insurer, consultancy or another statistical role
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data, draw conclusions from it and clearly communicate findings to key stakeholders across the business
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of R, Excel and actuarial software experience

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of new business quotations for the S&R line of business
  • Analysing experience data to determine trends in order to support the derivation of technical pricing basis
  • Communicating results/findings to stakeholders across the business

  • Help enhance the pricing team capability by supporting the improvement of processes and approaches
