Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills are required, as is experience advising on complex accounting issues and implementing policy changes. Candidates must be located within commuting distance to Vanguard’s Wayne, PA campus, and visa sponsorship is not offered.
The Senior Accounting Policy Analyst will oversee the development, implementation, and documentation of global accounting and disclosure policies, including identifying differences between regulatory reporting equivalents. This role involves leading the implementation of complex accounting and reporting policies, conducting technical accounting research, and communicating conclusions to stakeholders. Responsibilities include developing and presenting accounting training, providing subject matter expertise on policy application, and monitoring upcoming accounting standards and financial reporting regulations. The analyst will also interface with external parties on accounting and regulatory guidance, assist in drafting comment letters, and participate in special projects.
