Requirements

  • 3-5 years of accounting experience ideally including both public accounting and corporate experience
  • Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Excellent leader with proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Capability and desire to take on broader roles in the finance organization
  • Ability to understand and manage cultural differences in a highly diverse international business
  • Naturally builds relationships across the enterprise through collaboration, consensus building, and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Ability to understand business implications and impact on consolidated financial statements related to employee cost accounting
  • CPA license or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with relevant Corporate staff (e.g., Treasury) to ensure proper accounting occurs each month
  • Take ownership of the cash accounting system, properly mapping cash transactions to ensure correct accounting
  • Learn and master the derivative accounting system, running required reports each month/quarter and troubleshooting where needed
  • Provide monthly forecast and annual budget support for FX and commodity hedging
  • Perform research of US GAAP standards in conjunction with the Technical Accounting group to address new events or transactions impacting debt and derivative accounting, including documentation of conclusions
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual footnote and other disclosures related to debt and derivative activities for SEC filings
  • Support external audit and review procedures
  • Assist with SOX compliance documentation and testing as required
  • Plan, develop, and execute special projects as appropriate
