Responsibilities

Preparation of corporate tax, local tax, consumption tax returns and related documents, and handling payments via e-Tax/eLTax
Preparation, submission, and payment of fixed asset tax, business office tax, and payment reports
Response to tax audits
Handling and support for VAT (overseas consumption tax) declarations
Correspondence with tax treaties, electronic bookkeeping preservation law, and coordination/support with tax accountant firms
Tax advice on new businesses or contracts
Calculation and journal entries for taxes and tax effect accounting during quarterly/annual closings, and company law disclosure responses
Preparation and submission of tax reports to headquarters
Analysis and management of tax-related accounts
Correspondence with audit firms (tax-related and internal controls)
Establishment and documentation of tax processes for internal controls
Execution of tax-related data analysis, support for process improvements, and promotion of digitalization of tax operations (utilizing AI or new technologies)
Support for establishing and standardizing global tax response systems
Evaluation of tax risks and development of countermeasures
Support for executing global tax strategies through regular communication with overseas tax teams
