We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage our client's general ledger, financial reporting, and accounting operations. Our client is focused on building long-term structured wealth for investors through real estate, creating tailored financial solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years post-CPA qualification experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory.
- Excellent English communication skills (speaking, writing, comprehension).
- University degree with an average score of 80% or higher; transcript required.
- Experience in fund administration, preferably within financial services or fund management companies.
- Experience in Investment Operations, specifically fund administration and reporting on real estate investments.
Nice to Have
- Legal background or experience.
- Familiarity with servicing calculators and other lending-related software.
Responsibilities
- Manage the company's general ledger, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheets, cash flow statements), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data, identify trends, and prepare reports summarizing the company's financial position.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Coordinate and oversee budgeting processes and forecasts, assisting in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Manage tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns for review by an external tax advisor.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures, ensuring compliance with accounting best practices, company policies, and statutory requirements.
