Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA designation being preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience is required, along with a solid understanding of US GAAP and general accounting practices. Proficiency in Netsuite, Salesforce, and advanced Excel skills is necessary, as is the ability to troubleshoot system errors. Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines are essential, complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will perform and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance, while supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for accurate financial reporting. This role involves assisting with the preparation of financial statements and management reports according to GAAP, maintaining schedules for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and depreciation records. The Senior Accountant will also assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation, and will identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and improve efficiency while staying current on accounting standards and best practices.
