Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Experience working at a publicly-traded company preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Airbase, and Avalara preferred
  • Familiar with ASC 340-40, ASC 842, and ASC 606 compliance preferred
  • Experience in a SaaS environment
  • Advanced accounting knowledge base with a strong interest in expanding the skill set

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Envoy's monthly worldwide financial statement consolidation, including intercompany entries
  • Post journal entries, review general ledger accounts, and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, oversee the chart of accounts, and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
  • Prepare and review monthly/quarterly fluctuation analysis over income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow
  • Timely resolution of any issues identified with a proper level of management to timely review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, and reports
  • Research technical accounting issues and draft accounting position memos as necessary
  • Assist in drafting footnotes to consolidated financial statements and prepare related supporting schedules
  • Support internal and external audit processes
  • Interaction with outside auditors and project management of the annual audit
  • Assist in the revenue recognition process in compliance with ASC 606, including the management of deferred revenue, revenue, and accounts receivable
  • Resolve any revenue-related inquiries and discrepancies
  • Support in overseeing cash collections, processing refunds, and ensuring the accuracy of aging through regular clean-up activities
