Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a corporate setting. It is required that they have a background in e-commerce or consumer packaged goods (CPG), an independent and self-starter mindset, the ability to manage multiple priorities, proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Google Sheets (with Excel-level fluency), meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy, a solid understanding of US GAAP, income statements, balance sheets, and accounting workflows, and experience working with large datasets and delivering actionable analysis.

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will own the Accounts Payable function, including vendor payments and company credit card management via Ramp, prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts during the monthly close process, support the preparation of financial statements and assist with internal reporting for management, assist with tax compliance and filings, including sales tax via Avalara, analyze financial data, perform ad hoc analysis, and help streamline month-end processes using Numeric.
