Senior Gameplay Animator (Contract)

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Art, Animation, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of professional experience as a 3D Character Artist, demonstrating a strong portfolio of high-quality character modeling work. They should be highly proficient in crafting 3D sculpts and low-polygon models, with a solid understanding of UV layout, PBR pipeline, and topology, and possess knowledge of efficient sculpting techniques and the human form.
As a Senior 3D Character Artist, the individual will be responsible for creating both high-resolution 3D sculpts and final low-polygon models, LODs, and texture game assets for a new Blizzard game. They will review assets, oversee integration into the game engine, ensuring performance and visual standards are met, and provide guidance and mentorship to other artists. The role also involves collaborating with experienced visual development artists, technical artists, and animators to create unforgettable characters, supporting the submission of feedback to external partners, and participating in prototyping and group critiques to iterate on game assets.
