Responsibilities

Interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising security staff
Managing security staff schedules, overtime requests and approvals, and necessary permits and licenses to ensure compliance at facilities and exhibitions
Maintaining and verifying the operation of surveillance equipment and alarms, including access control and video surveillance systems, and managing physical keys to facilities
Managing security systems and equipment contractors and maintaining an appropriate security environment
Acting as a liaison between the security team and other departments/stakeholders, reporting security issues to higher management, and coordinating with supervisors in other departments
Implementing and maintaining a system to confirm the safety of all employees at PSA Japan in the event of earthquakes, fires, and other disasters
Providing regular feedback to direct reports and conducting regular performance evaluations
Managing staff schedules, providing work guidance, performance evaluations, awarding and disciplining staff, and resolving complaints and issues within and outside the department
Ensuring the safety of all employees, securing stored items, and controlling access to the Tokyo Distribution Center facility
