Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising security staff
  • Managing security staff schedules, overtime requests and approvals, and necessary permits and licenses to ensure compliance at facilities and exhibitions
  • Maintaining and verifying the operation of surveillance equipment and alarms, including access control and video surveillance systems, and managing physical keys to facilities
  • Managing security systems and equipment contractors and maintaining an appropriate security environment
  • Acting as a liaison between the security team and other departments/stakeholders, reporting security issues to higher management, and coordinating with supervisors in other departments
  • Implementing and maintaining a system to confirm the safety of all employees at PSA Japan in the event of earthquakes, fires, and other disasters
  • Providing regular feedback to direct reports and conducting regular performance evaluations
  • Managing staff schedules, providing work guidance, performance evaluations, awarding and disciplining staff, and resolving complaints and issues within and outside the department
  • Ensuring the safety of all employees, securing stored items, and controlling access to the Tokyo Distribution Center facility
