Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills; able to communicate effectively in writing and orally, comprehend English fluently, including under stressful situations
  • Able to work in hot and cold temperatures
  • Able to work independently and under supervision with a positive work ethic
  • Must pass a background check
  • Flexible to cover A Shift primary hours and other shifts as needed

Responsibilities

  • Physical security of the facility, including walking or stationary posts
  • Inspection and control of persons and vehicles entering or leaving the facility
  • Logging of truck traffic during ingress and egress
  • Writing reports and performing preliminary investigations of accidents, thefts, workplace violence, and other incidents
  • Switchboard operations, two-way radio communication, and intercom equipment
  • Checking identification of all visitors, vendors, contractors, and Team Members
  • Allowing only authorized personnel into the facility
  • Checking all carry-in items including bags, briefcases, toolboxes, lunchboxes, etc
  • Walking through the plant to check physical facility security
  • Inspection of all motor vehicles driven into the plant
