Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accenture MxDR Ops Security Threat Analysis
  • 15 years full time education (minimum bachelor’s or master’s degree)
  • Experience in SOC operations with customer-facing responsibilities
  • Deep understanding of cyber security fundamentals, security devices, network defense concepts, and threat landscape
  • Hands-on experience in SIEM and threat hunting tools
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability to accept change
  • Ability to work 24x7 on rotational shifts in Chennai office
  • Preferable certifications: GCIA, GCFA, CISSP
  • Desirable: Knowledge in scripting languages, EDR products, SOAR platforms

Responsibilities

  • Perform security monitoring by analyzing logs, traffic, and alerts from various device technologies
  • Provide timely response to customer requests such as detection capabilities and tuning
  • Research new threats and provide recommendations to enhance detection capabilities
  • Demonstrate strong desire for continuous learning on vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Collaborate with teams to assess security needs, implement security measures, and monitor systems for threats
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
