Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in security, DevOps, or SRE
  • Experience in security architecture and designing secure, resilient systems
  • Strong proponent of cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Familiar with cloud automation tools like OpenTOFU/Terraform and AWS CDK
  • Knowledgeable in data collection and analysis (SIEM, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, etc.)
  • Comfortable with AWS and its security services (GCP is a plus)
  • Understand computer networking (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTPS, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Linux operating system
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Good with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and eager to learn software engineering practices
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to support diverse teams
  • Autonomous and proactive mindset in a distributed, dynamic organization

Responsibilities

  • Security monitoring and alerting across cloud environments, on-prem servers, and end-user devices (using tools like Cortex XDR, ESET, Tenable)
  • Cloud automation using IaC to build, manage, and secure AWS and GCP environments, including automating security controls, compliance checks, and deployment pipelines
  • Incident response, including participating in, refining, and perfecting procedures and reporting
  • Infrastructure hardening by partnering with teams to identify vulnerabilities and guide hardening/verification of configurations
  • Security enablement, including advising Minders, contributing to guidelines/awareness/best practices, and working with development teams to integrate threat modeling into the SDLC to identify/mitigate risks
