Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or other related areas or equivalent certifications (CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CCNP, SNIA)
  • Fluent in English
  • Understanding of 24x7 mission critical enterprise computing environments and the impact of service disruption on a company’s bottom line (position includes shifts, including night shifts)
  • Strong interpersonal and security skills
  • Good communication skills and customer centric focus
  • Good analytical skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to pro-actively learn new technology, processes and other skills
  • Flexible, self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure in an international and culturally diverse organization

Responsibilities

  • Deliver operational services to outsourcing accounts on time, on target with quality, and work on shifts including night shifts
  • Accept and analyze security incidents related to supported customer environments to minimize unplanned downtime and achieve high customer satisfaction and predefined SLAs
  • Perform incident logging, categorization, prioritization, management, and closing
  • Open an incident record (where not already automated) for each incident to record and track all relevant information and provide a complete history of events and activities
  • Categorize and prioritize incidents so they can be handled quickly and efficiently
  • Upon closing the incident, verify that the categorization and closure code are correct
  • Ensure all cases are acted upon conscientiously within the expected SLA framework
  • Perform generic troubleshooting within the applicable technology platform
  • Escalate to security support teams as needed
  • Work in close relationship with other teams under direct supervision by team management
