Must be 21 years of age or older
2+ years of training/facilitation experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays (10 pm to 6 am with weekends off)
Experience in defensive tactics training/facilitation (highly preferred)
Background in security, military, or law enforcement (preferred)
Leadership experience in security, military, or law enforcement (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

Instruct Security Officers courses on a variety of subjects in a professional manner
Collaborate with Property Security, Human Resources, and The MGM Resorts University to ensure progression through training courses and testing for completion
Assess training needs and implement training and learning opportunities at all levels of the organization
Conduct CPR instructor course based on American Heart Association requirements, and conduct Defensive Tactics Instructor Train the Trainer with strict adherence to MGMRI policy
Plan and manage class schedules, enrollments, training spaces, materials, and audio visual needs for training program
Perform classroom set-up and breakdown, material preparation, scheduling, inventory ordering, and resource allocations
Collaborate and maintain instructional guides and participant handouts for training program utilizing adult learning theories and curriculum design methods
Evaluate pre- and post-course data for measurement of learning quality, participation, satisfaction, performance, and business impact
Develop and recommend alternative training methods if needed
Manage deadlines and resources and work with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
