Candidates must possess a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and ideally have 2+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience, including internships and Co-ops. Proficiency with machining tools such as presses, CNC, and lathes is required, along with experience working with assembly teams on electro-mechanical assemblies. Familiarity with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Revit is essential, as well as the ability to read drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of full cycle engineering from conception to design to production, along with testing or root cause analysis experience, is also necessary.
The Jr Mechanical Engineer will work on-site in Bethesda, MD, collaborating with assembly teams on various projects. They will be involved in the full cycle of engineering processes, from conception through design to production, ensuring that all mechanical components meet required specifications. The engineer will also utilize their knowledge of machining tools and software to contribute to the development and testing of electro-mechanical assemblies.
