  • Minimum of 2 years’ field experience
  • Strong knowledge of plants, including annuals, perennials, and their care requirements
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physical tasks
  • Valid Illinois Driver’s License
  • Valid Certified Landscape Technician license, or desire to obtain one

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and manage deliveries of live plants, faux accents, and new containers
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory of yard and shop materials
  • Supervise and direct seasonal blocking crews
  • Oversee plant care and implement a watering schedule
  • Maintain a clean, organized yard and shop environment
  • Prepare yard seasonally (e.g., cover hoop house, resurface gravel)
  • Coordinate dumpster pickups as needed
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles in yard and shop daily
  • Monitor and restock materials to maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Assist with holiday décor installations and takedowns
  • Maintain and update documentation for holiday décor closing procedures
  • Help create holiday wreaths, garlands, tabletop displays, gift kits, and installation kits
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
