Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a technical environment
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevOps principles
  • Experience working with cloud engineering or infrastructure teams is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Preferred Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM); SAFe Scrum Master or other scaled agile certifications; Agile Coaching or Product Owner certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
  • Coach team members on agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Remove impediments and shield the team from external disruptions to maintain focus on sprint goals
  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog clarity, prioritization, and alignment with business objectives
  • Track and communicate squad performance metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown) to stakeholders
  • Promote agile maturity across squads and contribute to the broader agile community of practice
  • Support cross-squad coordination and dependency management, especially in multi-team cloud delivery environments
