Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in a relevant scientific discipline with at least 6 years of industry experience in in vivo pharmacology, or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline with at least 4 years of industry experience in in vivo pharmacology
  • Hands-on experience with mouse models of inflammatory diseases (e.g., experimental colitis, fibrosis)
  • Proficiency in mouse handling techniques including IV, PO, SC, and IP dosing, necropsy, and tissue collection
  • Experience with lymphocyte FACS sorting, magnetic bead-based cell isolation, and multi-color flow cytometry (10+ colors)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. or equivalent degree with 0–3 years of research experience in industry or academic settings
  • Deep understanding of biological pathways involved in inflammatory disease pathogenesis
  • Prior experience in developing and characterizing mouse models for preclinical research
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly across teams
  • Experience in ex vivo analysis and data interpretation related to immune cell profiling

Responsibilities

  • Design, conduct, analyze, and report in vivo studies to support preclinical research objectives
  • Develop, optimize, and characterize preclinical models, particularly for inflammatory and fibrotic diseases (e.g., colitis, MASH)
  • Interface with cross-functional project teams and present findings at departmental and team meetings
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on study design and execution
  • Design, generate, and communicate pharmacology data of preclinical models internally to support inflammatory target discovery for autoimmunity and fibrotic diseases
